Situated on the bank of the Manzi River, a tributary of the Luangwa, Kuyenda is located in one of the most secluded, yet productive areas in South Luangwa National Park.

Accommodation at Kuyenda consists of six authentic thatched rondavels, each with en suite facilities. The main dining area, sitting room and bar are in a small, open-fronted, thatched structure at the centre of the small camp, which is the nucleus of all activities.

Kuyenda is justifiably proud of its atmosphere of exclusive personalised service and tranquility, and is a haven of comfort in the heart of big game country. Game-viewing here is on foot and by vehicle. To walk amongst Africa's big game in an untamed area, with the security of an expert naturalist and armed guard, dramatically heightens the senses and creates exciting experiences that are simply not possible in a vehicle.

Kuyenda and its four sister camps - Kapamba, Chamilandu, Chindeni and Bilimungwe - are ideal for individuals and small groups seeking a personalised remote bush experience in the South Luangwa, and offers great hospitality and spectacular opportunities to explore this magnificent wildlife sanctuary. Each camp is unique in location and style, and perfectly suited to a true African walking safari moving from camp to camp on foot.
