Wildlife travel experts
Our team has travelled the world, managed overseas lodges, been safari guides and tour leaders, and has years of experience in the travel industry.
We continually research, explore and photograph wildlife and wilderness areas around the world to update our expertise and to consistently arrange outstanding trips for our travellers.
Together with our overseas colleagues, we offer you a safe, enjoyable and educational wildlife adventure, put together by people who have ‘been there and done it’.
We really excel at tailor-making your trip to your needs. Our trip ideas are a guide to the possibilities but you are in the driving seat.
You may want to see certain species or visit particular parks, reserves or lodges. You may want a particular airline or class of travel, or need to travel at a certain time of year.
Tailor-making works whether you are an experienced safari hand or trying out a wildlife holiday for the first time, wanting to enjoy a wildlife experiences as part of an occasion like a birthday, honeymoon or anniversary, or a busy executive in search of a short wildlife fix.
Small group holidays
Sometimes the costs and logistics involved in getting to a destination make individual travel unfeasible.
In this instance we offer small group trips with fixed departures, such as a photographic trip with wildlife photographer, Nick Garbutt – or a one-off such as our Festival of Wildlife trips, which may focus on a particular event, area or even a species.
These help keep the cost down, and offer a convivial means of travelling with like-minded people generally accompanied by a specialist guide.
100% financial protection
Every holiday we sell that includes a flight element is protected under our ATOL licence number 10544: in the unlikely event of our insolvency, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) will ensure you are not stranded abroad and will refund any money you have paid to us for an advanced booking.
And our membership of the Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited (ABTOT) provides full financial protection for packages that exclude flights.

As more and more small so-called ‘specialist’ travel companies disappear into large organisations, we are fiercely protective and proud of remaining completely independent and totally owner operated, which means we decide exactly what to offer you, and why.
We don't own any lodges, nor do we own any ground agents or transfer companies. We simply choose the best lodges and guides for what you want to do.
24 hour on-call support
Your safety, and that of our guides and in-country operators comes before anything else.
We monitor world events very closely and make decisions informed by advice from the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office and our ground suppliers. Their in-depth knowledge and understanding of their areas is vital.
Before you travel with us we ensure you are equipped with our 24-hour emergency telephone number, in the unlikely event that you may need it.
