With an enviable section of prime Sand River frontage and understated luxury throughout, Dulini River Lodge offers a perfect location for both romantic and adventurous stays within the Sabi Sands Game Reserve.

Surrounded by ancient ebony trees and riverine forest, the property’s tranquil atmosphere is palpable with just six guest suites, providing an exclusive safari chic experience with incredible game viewing. The river acts as a magnet for a variety of mammal and bird species, and the lodge’s elevated position allows for outstanding wildlife sightings from the comfort of the expansive communal decking area or your private suite.

The lodge’s subtle décor is reminiscent of the encompassing environment, with elemental tones and textures creating a light and elegant feel. The main area consists of a comfortable lounge with dry-packed stone walls, delicate hand-carved wooden details and a cosy fireplace for winter nights, the curio shop and a multi-level dining space offering both a delightful communal space and a romantic setting for private dinners.

Meandering boardwalks lead from the communal area to the stylish guest suites, comprised of wood, stone and thatch, maintaining the natural aesthetic. Each positioned along the banks of the river with heated plunge pool and outdoor shower on private cantilevered decks, the suites create an ideal spot for some relaxing downtime between game drives. The open-plan interiors are airy and spacious with sizeable double beds, tasteful artwork, sophisticated soft furnishings, en suite facilities with bathtub, air-conditioning, minibar and complimentary WiFi.

The gastronomic experience consists of fresh and unforgettable dining in a beautiful wilderness setting with a selection of fine South African wines from the artfully curated cellar. Meals are served on the riverside deck, under the shade of a mature sausage tree, and dinners can also be enjoyed in the boma around the fire whilst marvelling at the dazzling night sky above.

Between safari activities, guests are welcome to make use of the outdoor training pool which is equipped with an elastic swim tether and the gym with a selection of Bodycraft and Lifespan training equipment, weights and floor mats. For those looking for a little more relaxation, an in-house massage therapist offers a range of treatments that can be indulged upon in the privacy of your suite or on your private terrace.
