Enjoy the natural wonders of the Galapagos Islands from the comfort of an intimate safari camp, situated in the lush highlands of Santa Cruz.
Galapagos Safari Camp features nine safari-style tents which are tucked into the hillside below the main lodge and overlook the surrounding forests and the Pacific Ocean. These spacious tents are adorned with custom-made furniture and a large balcony with a hammock and chairs where you can relax and enjoy the view. All tents have ensuite facilities, including a hot power shower and benefit from electrical sockets for charging cameras and devices.
This family-owned camp is located away from the crowds and offers sweeping views of the coastline and nearby islands. The lodge’s position on the rim of an extinct volcanic cone inspired the property’s design, and among the trees that tumble down to the ocean, giant tortoise roam and finches and mockingbirds flit about. After a day of exploration, relax by the pool or connect with other travellers at the Viewpoint. Dining is relaxed with menus combining sustainable island-sourced ingredients and Ecuadorian flavours. Guests can choose to dine indoors or al fresco on the veranda.
From the lodge, in addition to exploring some of the lesser-known corners of Santa Cruz by car, bicycle, and foot, you can also opt to visit some of the nearby uninhabited islands by boat. Ideal for those seeking an authentic safari experience, Galapagos Safari Camp offers an excellent base from which to discover the wildlife and wilderness of the Galapagos Islands.
