A comfortable hotel located in a peaceful setting, perfect for exploring the quieter sections of Yala National Park, Lunugamvehera and Bundala National Parks.

A conveniently located hotel, the Grand Tamarind Lake offers great views from its garden towards the nearby Detagamuwa Lake. During the day, a variety of birds visit the surrounding trees and lakeside, while in the evening, Indian flying foxes fly past as they set off to forage.

The hotel features spacious air-conditioned rooms with amenities such as TV, WiFi and mini fridges. The restaurant serves a good selection of typical Sri Lankan cuisine in addition to some international dishes, and there are plenty of areas to relax in. A highlight is the outdoor pool which overlooks the lake and is a great place to unwind in between safaris.
