This luxury lodge in the vast Zambezi River consists of two forested islands connected by a series of walkways and bridges. One has seven tented chalets, each with a deck and river view, while the neighbouring island has all the central facilities.

The area around Siankaba is a haven for an astonishing variety of plant and birdlife, conveniently located mid-way between two of the most spectacular natural wonders of southern Africa: Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park.

Each chalet is elevated on stilts and fashioned in teak and canvas, with en suite facilities. The indigenous forest that covers the islands provides privacy and shade, and each chalet has a private deck area with views across the Zambezi River. Walkways connect the elevated chalets to the main dining, lounge and pool area, and the lodge prides itself on its first class service, fine wines and haute cuisine. Romantics can book the special honeymoon chalet which offers a private dining area, sun deck and other personal touches.

There are regular transfers to Victoria Falls, day trips into Chobe National Park, and around the lodge itself there are bird walks, boat trips and picnics.

Key info

This accommodation is located in:

Victoria Falls, Zambia

Combining perfectly with a safari in Botswana, Zimbabwe or Namibia as well as Zambia, the Zambian side of the falls was once considered to be the ‘poor cousin’, by comparison with the views of the river and the falls from Zimbabwe. The two countries are linked by a spectacular iron bridge above the raging waters. Find Out More about {acc:title}
