A beautifully tranquil and understated luxurious lodge, set amongst lush paddy fields and wetlands, Vil Uyana offers a special accommodation base with excellent amenities for exploring the many attractions of the area.

Voted one of the top 15 eco lodges in the world, each of the 36 spacious lodges offer plenty of space, privacy and views into nature. There are four types of accommodation, located around the lush wildlife rich grounds; garden, marsh, paddy, water and forest. Each has individual characteristics, but all have been designed with local materials and blend with the surroundings. Rooms are spacious and feature modern amities include cable TV, WiFi, air-conditioning and balconies. The main lodge also features a large swimming pool, gym, spa and restaurant and bar 

With its location within the grounds of a private nature reserve, there's plenty of wildlife right on the doorstep with abundant birdlife, butterflies, mugger crocodiles and even many rare mammals such as fishing and rusty spotted cats. A highlight is the reserve’s designated loris trail, which takes guests through excellent habitat for this secretive nocturnal primate. Sigiriya Rock, Dambulla Cave Temple, Kalawewa and Minneriya National Parks are all nearby.
