Kabalebo Nature Lodge is a secluded rainforest base in western Suriname. Surrounded by forest and river, it offers a comfortable base from which to explore the area's wildlife and landscapes.

Thanks to its remote location, Kabalebo Nature Lodge is accessible only by air and reaching the lodge is part of the adventure, bringing you deep into a largely untouched part of Suriname. Accommodation is comfortable and supported by a range of facilities, with its rooms equipped with en suite bathrooms, hot showers and air-conditioning.

However, the lodge’s main draw is as a nature-focused base for exploring the surrounding rainforest. Offering trails through the forest, river excursions and mountain viewpoints, there are plenty of opportunities to experience the wildlife and scenery. Animals can also be encountered close to the lodge itself, making time spent around camp rewarding for keen wildlife watchers.

Kabalebo Nature Lodge is particularly well-suited to birdwatchers, photographers and travellers interested in immersing themselves in Suriname's rainforest.
