On the eastern side of the Mara Naboisho Conservancy lies the stunning Kicheche Valley Camp, an intimate luxury camp with just six tents set on individual platforms.
Located close to the Enniskeria River region, with its granite outcrops and permanent pools attracting an abundance of wildlife, the camp is ideally situated within an area home to big cats in impressive numbers, as well as herds of elephant, giraffe and wildebeest.
The Mara Naboisho Conservancy, covering 50,000 acres, is made up of land contributions from 500 Masai landowners, and the Conservancy fees provide the community with a sustainable livelihood. The camp itself is set in a secluded valley dotted with Acacia trees, while the vast plains to the north act as a vital elephant corridor.
All of the six spacious tents are fully insect-proof and are equipped with large beds and quality linen, as well as a sofa. En suite bathrooms have hot and cold running water, and a flushing toilet. Some family suites are available.
With strict controls on vehicle numbers in the conversation area, a true wilderness experience is guaranteed at Kicheche Valley.
