Kuro Tarangire is luxury and exclusivity weaved into the natural surroundings. Wildlife passes through this peaceful and authentic camp, which has an excellent location in the park.

The camp has been built from natural and locally sourced materials, and the bathrooms were designed to produce little environmental impact. The main area is, of course, the heart of the camp, looking out across a grassy plain with a tree line escorting a small river.

Extending from either side are the secluded tents, seven in total. Each immaculate tent is spacious, beautiful, and simple in design, with indoor and outdoor shower as well as a private verandah from which to watch passing giraffe, timid dik-dik and birdlife between safari excursions and meals.

A lantern lit path extends down to the fire pit, which in green season is sided by tall grasses and in dry season offers great views. At night, you gather here to enjoy the stars, fireflies and listen to the owls, lion and hyena. Moving from the fire to the dinner table, look for a local genet in the rafters.
