This small camp – the first accommodation allowed inside Nairobi National Park – is situated deep within riverine forest, yet only a short drive from the city.
Accommodation consists of nine tents with views of the valley and forest, and are equipped with a twin or double bed, en suite toilet and shower (hot water is heated over an open fire, and bought to your tent when required). Meals can be enjoyed under the shade of an olive tree during the day, and evening dinner taken under the star filled sky, surrounded by candles and lanterns. There is also a fully stocked bar.
Close to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and Wilson Domestic Airports, and on the doorstep of the city, the park entrance lies just 10 minutes from the airport and you can be in your tent within 30 minutes of leaving the terminal, which includes a 20 minute game drive! The park is home to lion, leopard, rhino and a range of savannah wildlife, so why stay in the city when you can start or end your trip with a wilderness experience and another night on safari?
