Six delightful timber pavilions, all refurbished in 2014, dot the pristine rainforest at Narrows Escape Rainforest Retreat. Each one features a deep double whirlpool spa bath, log fire, luxurious designer furnishings, and beautiful rainforest views from the large windows and verandah; there is even a skylight so you can gaze up at the tree canopy. Other facilities include free high speed WiFi connection, covered parking, BBQ, TV, DVD player and stereo hifi.
Soft bathrobes and slippers are provided, along with bath products, chocolates and fresh flowers. A gourmet breakfast hamper is supplied on arrival, and freshly-baked croissants are delivered each morning. You can have delicious home-cooked meals or BBQ hampers delivered to your pavilion so you need never leave your private haven unless you choose to. And if you stay for two days or more, a welcome platter is placed in the fridge for your arrival, and a myriad of little surprises will make your stay even more memorable.
The surrounding rainforest brings singing birds, patter of rain on the roof and the slow rustle of the wind. There is nothing quite like the silence of the bush… You can even enjoy watching night-time visitors such as ring-tailed possums and sugar gliders from the comfort of your own private deck.
A host of activities is available locally: from guided rainforest walks and long-distance trekking on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walk, to four-wheel-drive tours in the national parks and reserves and whale watching down on the coast.
