Seven Spirit Bay is a secluded wilderness lodge on the Cobourg Peninsula, combining comfortable villa accommodation with exceptional access to the wildlife, coast and landscapes of Arnhem Land.

Set among tropical forest overlooking Coral Bay, the air-conditioned Habitat Villas feature private en suites and covered verandahs. Days are spent exploring Garig Gunak Barlu National Park and the Cobourg Marine Park, with guided wildlife cruises, birdwatching, nature walks and 4WD safaris. Dolphins, dugongs and saltwater crocodiles may be encountered, while evenings bring excellent dining and time to relax beside the palm-fringed pool.

Reached by scenic flight from Darwin, Seven Spirit Bay feels wonderfully removed from the outside world. Its position on the Cobourg Peninsula provides access to a remarkable mix of coastal, marine and woodland habitats, with activities tailored to conditions and guests’ interests.

Explore by boat in search of marine wildlife, or head out by 4WD through savannah woodland and along remote beaches. Guided nature walks and birdwatching reveal the peninsula’s rich birdlife, while guests can also visit the historic Victoria Settlement at Port Essington or join a fishing excursion. Back at the lodge, the Habitat Villas provide a comfortable retreat, with meals prepared by the in-house chefs and a swimming pool for relaxing between excursions.
