Tongabezi is a luxury riverside lodge in a romantic location on a sweeping bend in the Zambezi. Its houses and cottages are each individually styled and cater for two to five guests.
There are five twin or double-bedded river cottages, each with doors leading onto their own expansive private wooden deck. All are en suite and right next to the water, with private views across the Zambezi. There are also six large houses: Honeymoon House, Bird House, Tree House, Nut House which sleep 2 people, plus Dog House and Garden House, which accommodate five people and are ideal for families. Built of local materials, every room is unique in design and set among the camp’s ebony and acacia trees. The swimming pool is landscaped into a cliff overlooking the river and meals are served here on a deck.
Tongabezi is perfect for relaxing after a southern African safari and ideal base from which to visit the Victoria Falls, where there are a variety of exciting activities on offer. Your stay at Tongabezi includes a visit to the Victoria Falls, and boat, walking and picnic trips along Zambezi River. A special Tongabezi wedding can also be organised complete with African choir.
