Whale Sound is a tiny eco camp situated within the marine reserve on Carlos III Island, accommodating a maximum of ten people in comfortable twin bedded double dome tents.

The camp is built on wooden decking to avoid erosion and is dedicated to whale research in the Strait of Magellan. The intimacy is enhanced by the pristine scenery of mountain, glacier and forest. It was founded by scientists who discovered that humpback whales return here every summer, so there is plenty of opportunity to watch whales and learn about them from researchers.
