Come & Join us at WildFair!
We are delighted to be hosting another WildFair following the success of last year's event. Taking place on Saturday the 13th of August, we have an unmissable day planned, and we're excited to see you all there. Find out more about what we have in store below.
Based at our beautiful converted barn offices in rural Hampshire, WildFair brings together friends and clients with our entire Wildlife Worldwide team to spend a day celebrating the world of wildlife and travel.
Come and join us on Saturday the 13th of August for a day of interactive workshops, discovery walks, wildlife presentations, photography tasters and artistic demonstrations – all led by our expert team of staff, tour leaders and guest speakers. We've added even more activities and special guests to the day, and if you attended last year it's a fantastic opportunity to try anything you didn't have the chance to.
Our inaugural event was a success and here are a few kind words shared with us from our valued clients who joined us last year:
"Thank you and all the team for a super day on Saturday. We both enjoyed WildFair very much and hope it will become an annual event. It was a great opportunity to meet the team, find out about the opportunities Wildlife Worldwide offers in more detail and try out some new skills. Indeed a mini ‘festival’ perhaps."
"We wanted to thank you for the fantastic idea to create WildFair and for Chris and the team for believing it could happen. We know the amount of work that had to go into such an event to make it a success and that it all comes down to teamwork. It was a truly enjoyable and successful event."
"I think that everybody I saw spent the entire day walking around with a grin. The organisation from the individual itineraries to the various activities was superb. We thoroughly enjoyed all the activities and the leaders were informative and fun."
"Thanks for a wonderful day. It was good to meet up again with those I have met previously and also to meet the folks behind the phone calls and emails."
Similar to last year, attendees will be asked for their interest on the activities available, and we will put together a personalised plan for the day - it's the perfect way to get a taste of a new skill. Find out more about the activities on offer, and answers to our FAQs below.
Wildlife photography & videography workshops

We will be offering bird and macro photography, in addition to a drop-in camera clinic for all of your technical questions, and an informative trail camera demonstration. Wildlife filmmaker Neil Aldridge will also be joining us with a videography workshop.
Wildlife art workshops
Sculpture artist Nick Mackman and wildlife artist Jonathan Truss will be running demonstration and taster sessions again, with different subjects enabling you to add to your collection from last year or try something new.
Nature walks
Our expert naturalist tour leaders Mike Dilger, Barry Embling, Ed Hutchings and Ian Loyd will be leading nature walks around the local area including Alresford Pond and a local farmland birdlife walk.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to meet our Sales team who are on hand for any holiday requests and our partners including SWAROVSKI OPTIK, NHBS, experts from the Hampshire Wildlife Trust, who will also be running workshops to build an insect hotel, Hampshire Swifts and Barn Owl Project & Bird of Prey Hospital and more in the Discovery Marquee.
FAQs
How much do tickets cost & what is included?
Tickets are £55pp, which includes a programme of activities, donation to a local conservation charity, BBQ lunch, refreshments throughout the day and a ‘sundowner’ at the end of the day.
I went last year, can I attend this year too?
Absolutely! We've brought back some of the most popular workshops and leaders from last year, added some new activities and nature walks and invited some new faces too. This means even if you attended last year, there will be something new for you to try, and our wildlife art workshops have a different focus. So whether there was something you missed out on or if you enjoyed it last year and want to have another taster this is your chance!
Will there be parking?
Yes, plenty of parking is provided in the fields adjacent to the office. You will be sent a separate document with detailed directions and a map before the event.
Is there anywhere to stay nearby?
For those who require overnight accommodation, there are many options available both locally and also within the wider area. We recommended staying in either Winchester or Alton. Please contact our team for recommendations.
