Why Zambia should be the next place you visit…

A vast array of incredible wildlife, thunderous waterfalls and wide open plains, Zambia is as varied as it is beautiful. At Wildlife Worldwide, Zambia is very close to our hearts – it was while founder Chris Breen was working in South Luangwa National Park as a safari guide that the idea for the company was born.

I’ve been visiting the Luangwa Valley for the past 35 years - it’s my second home!” – Chris Breen

If you’ve not travelled to Zambia before, then now is the time! We have complied 10 reasons why we love Zambia…

1) This stunning country is known, for good reason, as the home of the walking safari, with an amazing array of wildlife including the endemic Thornicroft’s giraffe.

2) Each year straw-coloured fruit bats undertake their incredible migration, gathering in their millions in a small swamp forest- they create one of the most wonderful wildlife spectacles on Earth.

White-water rafting, walking, bird and mammal watching, canoeing and bungee-jumping are all possible… or you may prefer to simply relax and enjoy the scenery and local colour.
