Abel Peters

Abel has always been passionate about the natural world. Having worked as a guide in Ethiopia and Tanzania, he's built up an extensive knowledge of the region’s natural history.

He has been a full-time naturalist guide for many years and has enjoyed leading tours to all corners of Ethiopia, with the Bale Mountains being his favourite location. With excellent English, outstanding wildlife tracking skills, bird and mammal identification, communication and endless enthusiasm, he's in his element when showing visitors the wonderful wildlife of his home country.
