Akarsh has been a naturalist in Ranthambore National Park, where he developed his extensive knowledge of the sub-continent’s flora and fauna. Afterwards, he began guiding groups across India and helped to lead educational campaigns promoting wildlife conservation.
Akarsh has also been involved in conservation projects, including the ‘Bring Birds Back to Bangalore’ initiative. This aimed to re-introduce a number of bird species, particularly house sparrow, within urban areas by improving the habitats that are available for these species.
Another string to Akarsh’s bow are his skills as a wildlife photographer, which have led to him being certified by Canon India.
