Assen Ignatov

Assen is an experienced naturalist with an MSc in Vertrebrate Zoology & Anthropology, who works as a zoologist at Sofia’s National Museum of Natural History.

As well as leading tours that focus on birding and butterfly watching, Assen has contributed to many scientific papers, as well as illustrating a number of books that specialise in Bulgaria’s natural history.
