Eric has been passionate about the natural world his whole life and has enjoyed discovering the many wild wonders found close to his hometown of Sandakan in Borneo.

He has been a full-time naturalist guide for over 20 years, and has enjoyed leading tours and showing visitors from all over the world, the fascinating wildlife of Borneo. In his spare time Eric still loves to be out in nature cycling, fishing and trail running.

Bornean orangutans are highly endangered, but on this specially designed itinerary we explore the finest locations in Sabah to observe these wonderful primates in the wild.
