Sarath Wijayawardana

Sarath is a passionate naturalist who is deeply committed to wildlife conservation and education. He enjoys sharing the wonderful diversity of Sri Lanka's wildlife with visitors.

He is an active and dedicated member of esteemed organisations, including the Youth Exploration Society of Sri Lanka and the Field Ornithology Group of Sri Lanka (FOGSL). He is a registered Tourist Guide with the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) and holds an impressive NVQ Level 4 Tourist Guide qualification. Sarath is also a valued member of the Naturalist Guide Association of Sri Lanka (NaGa). His expertise is further exemplified by his completion of the First Certificate Course of Ornithology offered by the University of Colombo.

Sarath enthusiastically collaborates with others to make a positive impact on Sri Lanka's diverse wildlife and its precious natural habitats. His dedication and contributions play a crucial role in advancing the cause of protecting and preserving the country's remarkable natural heritage.
