Tumi was born and raised in a village called Kachikau, not far from Kasane in the Chobe District of Botswana. His father was a nature lover and safari guide, and it was from him that Tumi learnt about the wilderness and the wonderful wildlife that surrounded him.
Tumi's guiding career blossomed in 2016, when he started working for lodges and leading overnight mobile safaris in Chobe National Park. Since then, his knowledge of mobile safaris has grown untold, and he has led many a successful trip in Botswana.
