His father was a nature lover and safari guide, so guiding and wildlife conservation was instilled in Tumi from a young age. He learnt a great deal from his father about the wilderness and encouraged by this, he obtained his guiding license and pursued a career in the bush.
Tumi's guiding career blossomed in 2016 where he started working for lodges and leading overnight mobile safaris in the Chobe National Park. Since joining Wildlife Worldwide, his knowledge of mobile safaris has grown untold, and he has led many a successful trip in Botswana.
