The Andean town of Jardı́n, in north-west Colombia, is famous for its beautifully preserved colonial architecture, delicious fresh coffee, lush vegetation and abundant rivers and streams.

El Jardı́n, (known as Jardı́n), is in the south-west region of Antioquia, Colombia, located between the San Juan River (called Docató in the indigenous language of the area), and a branch of the Western Cordillera.

This is true Colombia – where men in ponchos wearing cowboy hats sit in the plazas and bars, their horses tied up waiting for them! The buildings ooze charm, the main squares are elegant, carefully tended and overflowing with greenery and flowers. Enjoy just sitting and watching the real Colombia go by, or make excursions from here into the surrounding reserves and beautiful mountain landscapes.
