The Coral Discoverer is a small expedition ship, featuring the latest technology to offer cruising in open water, yet can access remote destinations, such as the rugged coastlines of Tasmania, which larger vessels cannot do.

Offering a comfortable base for exploring Australia, Coral Discoverer accommodates up to 72 passengers in a choice of staterooms, sized between 15 and 20 square metres, all featuring unique artwork, en suite bathroom and individually-controlled air-conditioning. The sun deck offers a great social space and is seen as the on-board hub; other leisure facilities include the Explorer Bar, sun loungers and bridge deck lounge.

Other public areas include a spacious modern dining room, a lounge and a reference library, both of which host a daily programme of lectures and briefings provided by the expedition leader who has extensive marine and local knowledge. The vessel operates an open bridge policy, so you can gain an insight of the operations and interact with the all Australian and New Zealand crew.  For exploration of beaches and rivers, Coral Discoverer carries Xplorer, a tender vessel which can carry all 72 passengers.

Coral Discoverer is an Australian built and flagged ship, featuring the latest technology active stabilisers to enable comfortable cruising in open waters along with state-of-the-art navigation and system and wireless internet facilities. The ship offers a unique wildlife cruising experience.
