Seaventure combines safety with comfort, meeting all requirements of a 1-A Super Class Ice Vessel, whilst offering fine dining, spacious common areas, comfortable cabins and a multitude of optional adventure activities in the Antarctic.

Built to carry up to 149 passengers and 90 crew, the Seaventure underwent a refurbishment in 2021 and now incorporates spacious common areas such as the Club Lounge with bar and outside café, a sauna, fitness centre and citizen science centre, plus additional storage space, which allows for more equipment enabling a wider variety of activities during the voyage.

Safety is paramount onboard Seaventure, which benefits from the highest ice class standard for polar exploration vessels and features rectractable-type fin stabilisers for maximum stability.

Kayaking is available to passengers aged over 16 who are in generally good health, even if they have minimal paddling experience. Under the watchful eye of experienced guides, they will have the opportunity to negotiate their way between ancient icebergs and even to paddle alongside seals and penguins at play.

A limited number of guests who sign up before departure will have the chance to spend one night camping on the White Continent (weather permitting). Sleeping under the stars in a bivvy sack or two-person tent, listening to the sound of calving glaciers, maybe even some passing wildlife and appreciating the enormity and purity of the region is a truly magical experience.

Keen photographers, whatever their level of skill and ability, can take advantage of the ship’s Photography Coaches who are always on hand to assist guests in obtaining the best photographic images of their trip to Antarctica.

Passengers are encouraged to join the citizen science programme, during which they can assist in gathering data that is fed back to climate research facilities around the world, who are looking at and recording changes in the polar regions and the impact on birds and wildlife.

Accommodation comprises six porthole staterooms (deck 3), 28 triple staterooms (deck 4), 30 window staterooms (deck 5), all measuring 17 square metres, plus 16 verandah staterooms of 20 square metres (deck 6) and two owner’s suites of 30 square metres (deck 7), which incorporate suites with seating area and private balcony.
