Nestled within the beautiful rainforest near Lake Eacham in the Atherton Tablelands, Chambers Wildlife Lodge is a peaceful, family-run retreat designed for wildlife lovers. Set on a private nature reserve, the lodge provides exceptional opportunities to observe numerous species in a beautiful setting, with accessible walking tracks winding through forest and grassland habitats.

The accommodation features comfortable and spacious lodges, each with a cosy bedroom, en suite bathroom, living area and kitchenette. Private verandahs attached to each lodge are designed to immerse guests in the surrounding environment and maximise opportunities to observe native wildlife. The swimming pool, spa and sun deck overlooking the rainforest offer a fantastic way to relax at the lodge.

The property is renowned for its prolific wildlife; the surrounding forest is home to several iconic Australian species, including bandicoots, possums, platypuses, sugar gliders, and, if you're particularly lucky, Lumholtz’s tree kangaroo, along with an impressive variety of birdlife. Early mornings often reveal parrots and honeyeaters feeding nearby, while the lodge’s nocturnal wildlife viewing platform offers guests a chance to observe fascinating mammals that emerge at night.
