Snuggled in a cosy valley, high in the hills, with grand peaks towering around it, Fringe Ford is true wilderness. The historic main bungalow has 360 degree views over its own private reserve.

Fringe Ford was named by the Englishman who created a cardamom plantation here. Its present owner, an avid naturalist, has given most of Fringe Ford, which sits on the edge of Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, back to the elephants, leopards and gaur which have lived here for millennia.

There are three rooms in the main house, with another five near the stream that forms the background to your evening bonfire. Each room is snugly outfitted with comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms.
