A long-established working farm, the Killiechronan House and estate is located just back from picturesque Loch Na Keal and offers a homely base for a wildlife tour to this special island.
This traditional country house sits on a working farm that has been in operation since 1847 producing flavoursome Isle of Mull chesses. The house is relatively simple, but retains a warm homely atmosphere with typical Scottish country décor. There's an open-plan kitchen and dining room, comfortable living room and games room on the ground floor, and three double and three twin en suite rooms upstairs. There's an additional single room on the ground floor too with disabled access.
In addition to the main house, a number of rustic but comfortable farmhouses and converted steadings offer additional accommodation in cottages, all within walking distance. With fallow deer grazing on the lawn and otter and eagle territories on our doorstep, Killichronan House is a perfect base for peaceful ambience, spectacular mountain and loch views, stories around the fire and home cooked food.
