The lodge offers six simple yet comfortable wooden cabins, each with an en suite bathroom, WiFi and a forest‑view porch to ensure a relaxing stay. Its real appeal, however, lies in its extraordinary location within a stunning tract of protected cloud‑forest renowned for its rich biodiversity and exceptional birdlife. More than 340 bird species have been recorded in the forest surrounding La Florida, including 30 species of tanagers and 24 species of hummingbirds, as well as Colombian endemics such as the chestnut wood‑quail and the dazzling multicoloured tanager.
