Typical Extension Itinerary
Day1: Arrive
Today, arrive at the Argentine side of Iguazú Falls and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to rest after your journey, or to start exploring the surrounding area.
With two full days to explore Iguazú Falls, you have plenty of time to appreciate its immense cascades and take in the stunning scenery from the numerous viewpoints, including a spectacular view overlooking the famous Devil’s Throat. Being based on the Argentine side of the falls, there are several trails you can walk of your own accord where it’s possible to find an array of butterflies and birds, while it’s also possible to organise guided tours if preferred.
If you would like to, there’s also the option to cross the Iguazú River and explore the Brazilian side of the falls, where there are more viewpoints to enjoy as well as the chance to walk out almost underneath the falls.
The days are yours to pace as you like, and the afternoons are free to rest, enjoy your hotel, or continue to explore the area.
