Typical Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Arrive in Calgary

    Arrive in Calgary, where you meet your fellow travellers and stay overnight, before embarkation the following day.
  2. Day 2: Fly from Calgary to Resolute

    Transfer to the airport and board the private charter flight to Resolute. You have some time to explore this small hamlet before embarkation.

  3. Days 3-10 : Exploring the Northwest Passage

    Spend the next eight days exploring the wilderness of the Canadian High Arctic. Each day promises new discoveries, shaped by the ever-changing conditions of the ice and sea. Guided by an expert expedition team, you embark on daily Zodiac cruises and shore excursions, where breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife take centre stage.

    You may encounter polar bear on the ice, musk oxen grazing on the tundra, or perhaps the elusive Arctic fox or tell-tale spiral tusk of a narwhal breaking the surface. Bird enthusiasts can delight in the array of possible sightings, from Brünnich's guillemot and snow geese, to Arctic tern and peregrine falcon.

    Enjoy landings ashore to historical sights such as Beechey Island, where you can visit the grave sites of Franklin’s expedition members, and cruise among the icebergs on Zodiac excursions. Back on board, enjoy the comfort of your superb expedition vessel.

  4. Day 11: Disembark in Resolute and fly to Calgary

    After your final breakfast on board, transfer to the airport for your return private charter flight to Calgary. Spend the remainder of today at your leisure and stay overnight.
  5. Day 12: Depart Calgary

    Make your way to the airport for your flight home.
