Onboard Ultramarine, two twin-engine helicopters enable more passengers to view aerial landscapes compared to any other ship in the region, while quick-release Zodiacs ensure wildlife excursions depart with minimum waiting time.
Other features onboard Ultramarine include a spacious wraparound deck to maximise outdoor and wildlife viewing opportunities, a cutting-edge MAGS (Micro Auto Gas System) that converts waste into energy on the ship, thereby eradicating the environmental impact of transporting waste, large suites and cabins for up to 199 guests, comfortable public areas, plus a range of additional amenities including a spa, sauna and fitness centre.
The Ultramarine’s four embarkation points – including an internal, water-level Zodiac hangar – facilitate the speedy loading and deployment of boats for impromptu wildlife and adventure excursions.
What’s more, its two hi-tech helicopters allow for numerous optional adventures, such as aerial sightseeing to locations inaccessible to shore landings, heli-hiking, an ice-sheet experience, mountain biking, alpine kayaking and alpine heli-trekking.
Nine categories of accommodation, all with fridge, safe, TV, en suite facilities and heated floors range from six solo cabins, two triples, 30 explorer suites and 46 balcony suites, to six deluxe balcony suites, two terrace suites, eight penthouse suites, one owner’s suite and an Ultra suite.
The cabins range from 12 m² for a single to 52 m² for an Ultra Suite; each one carefully designed to ensure passengers are as comfortable as possible during their adventure cruise.
