Based for six nights aboard the charming Seahorse II, look for otters, seabirds, corncrakes and cetaceans as you journey to the west coast of Scotland, particularly the Isle of Mull and Small Isles in the Inner Hebrides.
From a comfortable vessel, Seahorse II, cruise for six nights around the Isle of Mull and the Inner Hebrides, in search of special wildlife including otters, grey and harbour seals, basking shark, minke whale, and bottlenose dolphins.
Mull’s birdlife includes divers, golden and white-tailed eagles, short-eared owl and hen harrier, while the Small Isles is home to nesting white-tailed eagle and wonderful colonies of Atlantic puffins and exciting flora.
Weather permitting, you hopefully visit Loch Aline, Loch Drumbuie, Canna, Muck, Eigg, Rum, Tobermory, and Loch Spelve. There's time to enjoy coastal and woodland walks, refreshing swims, sea kayaking, and of course, wildlife watching.
Seahorse II offers a perfect home away from home. Small and nimble, she can anchor in remote coves and secluded bays, immersing you in breathtaking surroundings. With a cosy saloon and spacious bridge, she’s ideal for wildlife observation and whale watching.

Day 1: Embark Seahorse II & set sail
After a short introduction to life onboard the small ship, lift anchor and set sail to your first destination.
Look out for bottlenose and common dolphins, harbour porpoise, basking sharks, seabirds such as gannet, kittiwake, guillemot and razorbill, while near to shore Atlantic grey and common seals may be seen from the boat. Once settled in, there’s time to savour the stunning views before enjoying some local food.

Days 2-6 : Explore the Isle of Mull & the Small Isles
Over the next five days, explore the highlights of the Isle of Mull and the Small Isles. Likely stops include Loch Aline, Loch Drumbuie, Canna, Muck, Eigg, Rum, Tobermory, and Loch Spelve. The serene anchorage at Loch Drumbuie, nestled between steep cliffs, provides the perfect spot for sea kayaking or a refreshing swim. On Canna, spot golden and white-tailed sea eagles, in addition to puffins. Muck offers beautiful coastal walks and is a haven for seabirds, while the shoreline of Loch Spelve is often visited by resident otters. With wildlife all around, each day promises exciting excursions, excellent encounters with wildlife, and whale watching. -
Day 7: Disembark
Today we must sadly leave the island, and set sail for the mainland, arriving at Dunstaffnage Marina in the early afternoon, where our wildlife adventure comes to a close.
