Colour Your Way Through Isolation

Download our drawings of a few well-known garden birds (from the UK) and bring out your creative side this spring.

Have you been coming up with ways to keep yourselves busy over the past couple of weeks in isolation? We want to keep you all busy with fun-filled tasks, giving you a bit of variation during these unusual times and have some wonderful drawings for you to download.

I have been spending my spare time drawing these gorgeous species and thought it would be fun to create blank versions which can keep people of all generations busy. So get out your colouring pencils, pens or paints, print out our templates and recreate your own favourite garden birds.

All of the Wildlife Worldwide team would love to see your finished pieces of artwork, so please do send them to us by emailing us on marketing@wildlifeworldwide.com or alternatively share them on our Facebook page.

You can also let us know what other species you want and maybe we can get more exotic with our colouring efforts.

Robin
Surely our most charismatic and familiar garden bird, the robin had to be the first bird to feature. It helps that it is one of the easier species to draw and hopefully to colour too.

Blue tit
The blue tit may be one of the most commonly seen species of bird in our gardens, but I find them to be utterly charming. Their beautiful colours may be a little hard to recreate, but I can imagine some fantastic results.

Nuthatch
Not at the top of most people’s lists, but I wanted to add something a little different, so the nuthatch is in the first batch of drawings. I look forward to seeing how you cope with this more secretive species.

Great tit
Not quite as delicate as the blue tit, the great tit is another common sight in our gardens, but it is a little easier to recreate in a drawing with fewer colours to fill in.

I can’t wait to see how you will get on, good luck!
