Andrew Amankwaa

From years of experience leading tours throughout Ghana, Andrew has built up a wealth of knowledge of the country's birds and mammals and become a fantastic tour guide.

Andrew was born and raised in Jukwa Watreso in the Central Region of Ghana, close to Kakum National Park, where he found his passion for wildlife. He has also developed a particular expertise in butterflies and assisted many researchers studying Ghana's rich butterfly diversity, including the renowned Torben Larsen, as he developed his book 'Butterflies of Western Africa'. Andrew's broad knowledge makes him an incredible nature tour guide, along with his deep knowledge of Ghana’s history and culture, infectious personality, and desire to offer his best to all of his guests.
