Tarvo Valker

Tarvo began birding at the age of eight and has been passionate about his hobby ever since.

After working as a monitoring specialist at Silma Nature Reserve in Estonia, Tarvo took up guiding and is now one of the most respected naturalist guides in Estonia, leading multiple trips each year alongside his conservation and research work.

Tarvo is the author of six books on Estonian birds, sits on the Estonian Rarities Committee and is a long term council member of Birdlife Estonia.
