Kaamanen is a village in Inari municipality in Finnish Lapland. The village has a population of about 200 and there are four official languages: three dialects of Sami and Finnish.

The area around Kaamanen is renowned for its fishing – especially of trout and grayling – and there are many wildfowl here. The wide open landscapes and scenic snowy backdrops make it particularly popular with photographers as well as keen birders.

The River Inari to the west of Kaamanen forms the border between Norway and Finland, and there are many well-known beauty spots in the surrounding area, including Route 970, the Ailigas Fells, Sulaoja Spring and Kevo Strict Nature Reserve. The village is also popular with visitors hoping to get good views of the Aurora Borealis from autumn through to spring.
