Vast numbers of salmon spawn in the waters of Lake Clark National Park, bringing essential nutrients to the ecosystem which in turn supports bears, bald eagles, moose and wolves.

Lake Clark National Park is one of the world’s most renowned bear watching destinations. This pristine reserve in southern Alaska is located on the Pacific Ring of Fire, where the Alaska Range intersects the Aleutian Range creating a spectacular and diverse landscape of jagged mountains, lakes, river valleys, glaciers and alpine tundra. No roads lead to the park, so access is by boat or small aircraft, typically floatplanes.
