Designed specifically for polar cruising, the Hondius is a new and remarkable vessel which explores both the Arctic & Antarctica. Hondius offers hotel comfort ensuite rooms at various classes and a quality expedition experience.

The Hondius is the newest vessel in its fleet, and space aboard has been optimised so that the cabins are roomy, viewing platforms are numerous and zodiac boarding is easy and efficient on this 170-passenger vessel.

The design for the Hondius has focused on being environmentally conscious whilst also enhancing client experience. Travelling on various itineraries to both the Arctic and Antarctic, guests aboard the Hondius will have an immersive experience.

While the Hondius has one of the larger maximum passenger group sizes of vessels that we use, the Zodiac boarding takes place on two specially designed separate gangways which make boarding easy and efficient. Effective access to shore and near-shore activities means that you will have plenty of excursion time.

Their state of the art lecture theatre means that when you aren’t on excursions, or watching from the various viewing platforms or relaxing in the comfort of your room, you can be both entertained and educated from the knowledgeable expedition team during a series of talks.
