These luxury yachts are a member of the esteemed Relais & Chateaux collection and operates as floating boutique hotel. Chic, stylish and luxuriously comfortable, Origin, Theory & Evolve can carry a maximum of 20 guests, offering passengers a wonderful opportunity to explore the awe-inspiring Galapagos archipelago on an intimate expedition adventure.
Built in 2016 and custom-designed for smooth, fast and efficient sailing, they have a cruising speed of 12 – 14 knots and a cutting-edge bow design to reduce fuel and save on carbon emissions.
Inside the interiors are elegant and feature contemporary understated décor and carefully curated art pieces. The indoor lounge is the perfect spot to unwind after a day exploring the islands, and guests gather here to enjoy lectures and Captain’s parties. The library is filled with an impressive selection of current and rare publications on natural history and the Galapagos, plus some of Charles Darwin’s famous works. The dining room is modern and tasteful, all meals are freshly prepared, à la carte and inspired by Relais & Chateaux. Lunch is prepared outdoors on the barbecue grill and guests dine from tables under the shade of the spacious sundeck.
As to be expected, the cabins are well-appointed and have a host of high-end features and amenities, including air-conditioning, memory foam mattresses, Nespresso machines, binoculars and refillable water bottles are provided as standard.
