Built in the tradition of steamboats that navigated the Amazon River in the late 19th Century, the motor yacht Tucano is a spacious and comfortable vessel, with a shallow draft for exploring remote creeks.
It has nine comfortable cabins with en suite bathrooms, panoramic windows and air conditioning. The windows in each cabin can be opened, allowing fresh air and the scent of the Amazon blossoms to flow into the cabin.
Despite the comfort it offers, the M/Y Tucano is still small enough to be able to dock at remote spots. It has an observation/sun deck, promenade balcony and dining room. From the viewing areas pink river dolphins can be observed swimming alongside the vessel, while monkeys can be seen jumping through the canopy at the edge of the river. During a trip on the M/Y Tucano, expert guides are on hand to take you in motorised canoes up the smaller creeks to watch birds and animals, photograph and enjoy the varied rainforest scenery.
