Yerevan ranks as one of the world’s top ten safest cities, and tourism is increasing each year. There are many historic attractions including temples, monasteries and cathedrals, while the biblical Mount Ararat is of particular interest to Christian tourists.
Yerevan is a centre for dance, music and cinema as well as the home of the Armenian carpet. It has been the capital since 1918, when the First Republic of Armenia was formed.

This tour combines Armenia’s remarkable diversity of landscape and habitat, a taste of its unique culture, and an opportunity to see demoiselle cranes on their autumn passage.
