The family-run Hotel Inis Oirr is located on the smallest of the Aran Islands, Inis Oirr, and offers a cosy base from which to explore the islands’ rich culture and natural history.

One of the joys of staying on the Aran Islands is the ability to explore on foot (or by pony and trap, if you prefer!). There is a local bus service, which links the hotel with key sites such as the prehistoric fort of Dun Aengus. Inis Oirr, like the other two Aran Islands is, geologically, an extension of the Burren and known for its remarkable assemblage of plants.
