Overlooking a permanent lagoon in the heart of the Okavango Delta, this traditional island camp is the perfect place to explore by mokoro (dugout canoe) and get close to wildlife.
The camp offers nine large luxury en suite safari tents, with shower and flush toilet, and the dining area, lounge and bar can be found in a separate thatched building.
Activities include game drives by day and at night, mokoro excursions, boat cruises and walking safaris, and hippo regularly gather and frolic in the camp's permanent lagoon. The camp is located in the headwaters of the Xudum river system beside Moremi Game Reserve, where you can see a great array of wildlife, however Pom Pom is particularly known for its excellent birdwatching. In the maze of channels, pied kingfisher and African jacana are common, but countless other birds flourish here; giant eagle owls are resident in the camp and a rare and elusive Pel’s fishing owl is regularly sighted.
