Typical Extension Itinerary
Day1: Arrive
Today, you arrive at the Brazilian side of Iguaçu Falls and transfer to your chosen hotel. The rest of the day's free to rest after your journey, or to start exploring the surrounding area.
On your first morning, you enjoy a guided tour of the Brazilian side of Iguaçu Falls. This should be an excellent chance to explore the immense cascades and surrounding landscape on foot, as your guide takes you to several scenic viewpoints. There's also a location where you can walk out to a point almost underneath the falls, which is an unforgettable, but potentially wet, experience!
The afternoon's free to spend at leisure, enjoying your hotel or exploring the trails some more.
Day3: Explore the Argentine Side of Iguaçu Falls
Your second day follows a similar structure, but this time you can enjoy a chance to explore the Argentine side of Iguaçu Falls. Here, several more trails offer equally spectacular views of the falls, including the famous Devil’s Throat viewpoint, and there's even a chance to find some colourful rainforest wildlife as you go.
Again, the afternoon's free to enjoy at your own pace.
Day4: Depart
After some free time in the morning for some final exploration or relaxation, you transfer to the airport before continuing with your onward travel arrangements.
