Set sail on a superb wildlife voyage through Alaska's Inside Passage. Encounter cetaceans, pinnipeds, and brown and black bears amidst stunning wilderness. Explore Glacier Bay National Park and indulge in comfort aboard a small expedition vessel.

With two exclusive days in Glacier Bay National Park, this voyage promises an immersive exploration of ancient old-growth forests, towering glaciers, and a rich abundance of wildlife. The surrounding nutrient-rich waters create a thriving ecosystem, drawing an array of marine mammals, including humpback, minke and orca. It is possible to witness these majestic mammals displaying an array of behaviours, ranging from breaching to bubble-net feeding, a coordinated effort where humpback whales encircle their prey using bubbles to corral and capture schools of fish.

On land, the dense forests harbour an abundance of wildlife, including the iconic brown (grizzly) bear and smaller black bear, which can be seen foraging along the shoreline. Overhead, bald eagles impress with their giant wingspan, while along the coastline, black oystercatchers and tufted puffins flit about.

Beyond the extraordinary wildlife, sparkling glaciers, and cascading waterfalls, a variety of excursions will keep you busy. Daily adventures include shore landings, guided hikes, kayaking, and exploration by skiff (small, inflatable boats). Travel in comfort aboard your intimate expedition vessel, allowing you access to waters that are off-limits to larger vessels.

If you’d prefer more opportunities for bear watching, why not consider our Bears and Whales Safari on the 22-passenger Safari Quest.
