Explore the Norwegian Fjords
Over the next five days, we explore the breathtaking fjord landscapes, scanning the water for signs of marine life. This region has provided incredible encounters with orca, humpback, fin, and even the elusive sperm whale. Seal, porpoise, and majestic white-tailed eagle are also commonly seen.
When the conditions are right, our expert guides will give the signal to prepare for a truly extraordinary experience—slipping into the water to observe whales in their element. Boarding the Zodiacs, we approach at a safe and respectful distance, waiting for the perfect moment to enter their world and swim with whales!
For those who prefer to stay dry, the Zodiacs also offer phenomenal opportunities for topside photography. Seeing the whales spy-hopping and feeding at close range from the Zodiacs is equally beautiful and special.
As daylight fades, we anchor in a sheltered bay, enjoying the warmth of the ship and evening lectures from our guides. We may head ashore for a walk under the Arctic sky, seeking out the northern lights and capturing their brilliance with the help of our experts.
