Simon & Sarah Phillpotts

Husband and wife duo Simon and Sarah moved to the Causses du Quercy Regional Nature Park, France in 2019, buying an old farm near the River Lot with over 12 hectares of oak woodland and meadows. Together they encourage and record a wide range of wildlife across their site, and have developed a series of photography hides as well as creating a wildlife pond.

Simon has worked for over 15 years as a professional wildlife photographer and guide. Originally based in the Yorkshire Dales, Simon established a successful photography business, running regular workshops throughout north Yorkshire.

As a professional wildlife photographer and f-stop Brand Ambassador, Simon's images have been Highly Commended in a number of photography competitions, including the British Wildlife Photography Awards.

Sarah has a background in biology and is a keen naturalist, with a wide-ranging interest in European plant and animal species.
