Enormous efforts to develop the trails and viewpoints around the Zambian side of Victoria Falls have now ensured that many consider them to be not only just as good, but even better than the Zimbabwean side.

Walkways and a viewpoint have been developed and a wide variety of superb accommodation from rustic to luxury is now available along the Zambezi River, increasingly away from the river and some with fabulous views.

Furthermore, there is a huge range of activities on offer from Livingstone, meaning that the area is worthy of more than just an overnight stay. A visit to Victoria Falls offers a great extension after a safari in Zambia, Namibia, Botswana or Zimbabwe.
